"Mi smo štitili naše prašume i nikad ih nismo uništavali. Ali tuđini su došli i raskrčili sve..."

Greenpeace International:
Burning Paradise an Investigation Every year, fires tear through Indonesia’s forests and peatland, destroying vast areas, putting the lives of people and wildlife at risk and releasing an enormous amount of carbon dioxide. Many of these fires erupt in land earmarked for development into plantations. A new investigation by Greenpeace International and Forensic Architecture suggests that on land controlled by one company, Korindo, the fires have occurred in patterns consistent with deliberate use. These fires appear to have been used to clear land in one of Korindo’s concessions in Papua, Indonesia’s eastern-most province.
